Assyrian American Veteran's

Monument Dedication Ceremony

Praise GOD that he made it possible for me to have the privilege, honor to be present at this unforgettible historical event on May 16, 1998. Elmwood cemetery's Assyrian section was filled with a crowd of several hundred prospectors, Assyran and non-Assyians.

I also had the opportunity to meed some great Assyrian people during this event such as the well known Mr. Paul Newey, Mr. Frank Younan; survivor of the Battan death march, along with other members of the AMVET post no.5, Mr. Lincoln Tamraz, former state senator John Nimrod, Mr. Cyrus Alexander, Mr. Lincoln Peters, Mr. Marshal Joseph and the mother of the Vietnam veteran who was lost in action the late CPT Kenneth Yonan, a graduate of West Pointe.

Following are some of the photos I took during the ceremony that I'd like to share with our readers.
