My name is Peter Paul, I am trying to trace my family tree and would like any information relating to the Paul (Polous) family.

My father Eshaia Polous of Sangar, Birzookhan, Urmia, Iran. Birzookhan is a river in northern Iran, just south of the Russian border. He had two sisters, one named Rachel who emigrated to Flint, Michigan and the second sister was named Sarah (I think ) stayed with her mother, (my Grand-mother) in Sanger. The Church in Sanger was named Mar Gewargis, and my family were the caretakers of the church I am told.

My father entered the U.S. about 1919 and lived in New York City for about 6 weeks, before moving to Fort William, Canada on the NW banks of Lake Superior. He lived in Canada for 10 years and was a bricklayer in Canada. He moved from Canada to Flint, MI to work in the GM Buick plant.

My mother's name was Nano Mushal, I don't know if she too was from Sanger, but I believe nearby. Her mothers name was Anna Esia, and she had 5 daughters and 1 son. Their names were Nano, Kadie, Lydia, Sadie, Nora and Robert. All lived in Flint, MI. I believe that Nora is the only survivor and she lives in either Turlok or Modesto, California.
